OUR STORY
It all began one day in the kitchen....

Wildflour is a Female Veteran Owned Small Business, and we are a husband and wife catering team.

Life was generous enough to bring us together, two people who have a passion for food. This business began as a long term goal that we dreamt about. In long conversations, over just a few months, we decided to put a plan into action to start the business that we both had dreamed of. We had a 3 year plan, but life had other plans for us. After working for almost 10 years at the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute, I was laid off due to lack of enrollment. But looking at the bright side, we would now be able to move forward with our dream. What better time than now to push forward, move up our plan and get going. So that is just what we did, nervous, yet optimistic. We knew that we had a great business plan, and that we both have the passion, dedication, and work ethic to make it happen. So here we are 7 years later, with a catering company, restaurant, an exciting new expansion, and two children; a Senior in High School, our National Champion Bowler,  and our mighty warrior, who is now a Pre-Schooler.

We operate our Catering business in downtown North Bend on Highway 101 South in The Odd Fellows Building. The one with the new North Bend Mural that we had done as part of our Facade Grant. Our address is 1987 Sherman Ave. North Bend, Oregon.

We are open Wednesday through Saturday from 3-8pm. We have had a great response to our food and we look forward to continue using our new space to hold more events.

We are thankful for the support of our family, friends, and community. We love being a part of our community; we are supported by our community, we support our community, and we give back to our community. Whether it is buying items like coffee, oats, produce, or meat from our fellow vendors at the Farmers Market, buying from places like the Coos Head Food Co-Op, Lehne Farms, Dayship Supply,  or getting all of our uniforms from BNT, we try and support our community by shopping local. And we always try to give back when we can.

I was raised here, I met my husband here, we are raising our kids here, we own a home here, and now we started our business here. We love it here!! We are happy to be a part of this community, and blessed that our dream has come true. Thank you to all of our amazing customers for making Wildflour a success.

And that is how our story began...........
